Hello.
I am so glad you have found my website and I am looking forward to
helping you in many ways.
My name is Grace Asagra Stanley. I was born in the Philippines and
came to America when I was thirty. I came from a lower-income family
that tapped all our resources to support our existence. We ate natural
foods, used herbs and massage to keep ourselves healthy in mind, body
and spirit.
In the Philippines, we were brought up to respect the wisdom of our
elders and healers. I spent a great deal of my free time learning
traditional teachings on herbs, hilot, bentusa, reflexology, aromatherapy
and good nutrition.
My journey as a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
degree started in 1978. As a nurse, I learned about the many health
problems in the hospitals and local communities. I worked with people
from other countries and was deeply involved in the community-based
health programs
In 1985, I became a Registered Nurse in the U.S.A. My first experience
was with AIDS and tuberculosis patients with a yearning for something
beyond what was being given to them. As result since 1989, I have
been working as a Critical Care Nurse incorporating my traditional
background from the Philippines. This gave me the opportunities to
use Integrative Critical
Care Nursing Services
that patients and I found to make a difference.
My experiences from the Philippines (The East) and the United Ststes
(The West) inspired me to create my own private practice:
My
practice includes:
~Personal Integrative Critical Care Nursing and Coaching
(In-patient or Out-patient)
-Filipino
Hilot and Bentusa
-Thai Medical Massage
-Nuttritional Guidance
- Reflexology
-Aromatherapy |
