| Filipino Hilot differs from Thai massage. It is more spiritual in nature. It does not use a lot of stretches but rather emphasizes kneading and pressure point strokes using oils and herbs. Prayers are made to the anitos (deities), ninunos (ancestors) and to then Poong Maykapal (God). Many clients like different approaches and I try to work with each individual tailoring my approach to their needs. | |
